There is a common kitchen and dining hall with a seating capacity of 30 persons. Adjoining the dining hall there is a common room which is used for group Yoga classes in the morning and TV and relaxing lounge for the rest of the time.
Living facilities for visiting parents are provided in a separate block

Horticulture and Gardening
One of the popular vocation among the residents is to take part in horticultural activities be it gardening, watering plants, pruning or plucking fruits. The residents love to spend their spare time in the garden in small groups where they communicate and exchange their feelings and thoughts with each other. At present we have chikoo, mango, cashew nut, jack fruit, mulberry and jamun fruiting trees that residents are free to look after and pluck fruit of their liking.
Local Vocation and Employment
Residents are trained and encouraged to undertake local employment as :
- Care taker
- kitchen worker
